Telecommunications Stock Market Trends

Over the last few years the telecommunications sector has seen a negative progression in stock value. We will look at five different telecommunication companies including Charter Communications(CHTR), Windstream(WIN), Frontier Communications(FTR), Verizon(VZ), and AT&T(T).  The overall trend remains negative throughout the industry, although needs for wireless service and fast internet remain on the rise. Competition between telecommunications companies continues to increase due to the addition of new wireless devices such as watches, tablets, and other assistant-like pieces and the boost in available speeds.  The telecommunications companies who also provide cellular service, Verizon and AT&T, are faring the weather bravely and continue to produce positive earnings and a relatively steady stock value.
